The Village SF Programs

The Village SF Programs

Healing and recovery come together at the Village SF through our programs. We serve our community with many pathways to wellness:

Café & Teaching Kitchen with Crystal Wahpepah

We’re partnering with renowned chef and restaurateur, Crystal Wahpepah (Kickapoo and Sac & Fox), to open a traditional foods Teaching Kitchen. Wahpepha’s Teaching Kitchen will provide work force training for Native relatives in recovery. Participants will be immersed in hands-on culinary training, small business mentorship that’s rooted in ancestral foodways. Look forward to community meals, intergenerational food education, and an on-site cafe in the near future!

Indigenous Futures Tech Hub with Roanhorse Consulting, LLC and Full Spectrum Capital Partners

Roanhorse Consulting, LLC is a core partner in designing the Village SF’s Indigenous Futures Technology Hub. Roanhorse Consulting brings deep experience in designing Indigenous economic development initiatives. Our vision for the Hub is to cultivate meaningful career opportunities for relatives in recovery by providing technical training opportunities. Additionally, with Full Spectrum Capital Partners, we’ll offer capital access programming that supports Native entrepreneurship and in turn our communities’ economic and cultural sovereignty.

Step-down Transitional Housing with Confederated Villages of the Lisjan Nation

In partnership with the Confederated Villages of the Lisjan Nation and Tribal Chair Corrina Gould, we are expanding the Women’s Lodge Transitional Housing program. This program offers culturally grounded, trauma-informed, wraparound services to Native women and mothers with children who are domestic violence survivors and emerging from treatment. It provides a pathway to stability, healing, and self-determination, supporting them in reunifying with children, gaining economic independence, and transitioning to permanent housing with dignity. Through traditional healing, workforce development, cultural programming, and coordinated care, we help Native women lead, rebuild, and thrive for and with their families and future generations.

Behavioral Health & Community Wellness with Native American Health Center

In partnership with the Native American Health Center, we integrate clinical care with cultural practice. Medicine People work alongside clinicians, Elders share knowledge, and talking circles offer healing for trauma, isolation, and caregiving. Ceremony, like Wiping of the Tears and powwows, restores belonging and connection. Our Community Mental Health Clinic will expand annual care from 345 to 845 clients, reaching 500 more people. Through culturally grounded therapy, care coordination, peer support, MAT, and traditional healing, we treat the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.

Each level of the Village SF building will have distinct programming, contributing to the holistic wellness framework shown in the image. The building will also be home to:

  • Rooftop Garden & Children’s Play Area

  • Ceremonial Courtyard

The Village SF is slated to break ground in 2026. Learn more about the coalition of leaders and advisors making this work possible.
